New Portfolio

By in Work

My new portfolio site is up and running. New layout, new content. It currently contains a lot of CITY covers, editorial layout, illustration, art direction, and motion graphics. I have not yet added straight-up “photography” to it.

CITY 2010: Jan-Feb

By in Photopalooza, Rochester, Roundups, Work

I love end-of-the-year wrap-up posts: I love seeing what people’s favorite photos from the year were, or what were their defining memories. ImageOut 18: Second Weekend

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but […]

‘P’ is for Photo, ‘Queue’ is for ImageOut

By in Work

Sometimes the most rushed photo shoots are also the most fun. I wanted to avoid a collage of film stills for CITY’s preview of this year’s ImageOut film festival (written by the talented Dayna Papaleo), so I suggested we put together a queue line of people to pose for the cover. It ended up being […]

Backdrops & Crossed Arms

By in Friends & Family, Photopalooza, Work

Brian, for his website; Whitney, for her senior photos; Matt W, just because. For my cousin Whitney’s senior photos, we did a mix of her in her soccer uniform in front of her High School, in front of blue and black backdrops in a “studio” setting, and a few of her at the George Eastman House gardens.
